Responsibilities and duties:
- Accounts and audit split approx. 50/50
- Assist on audits (approx. 50%) reporting to audit
- Supervise and train audit trainees during assignments
- Preparation of incorporated and unincorporated accounts
- Preparation of corporation tax computations
- Preparation of client accounts from incomplete records
- Preparation and submission of VAT returns
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Completing assignments within agreed time budget
- Keep technically up to date
- Liaising directly with clients
- Build a strong rapport with clients
- Part qualified ACA/ACCA (Study support will be provided where required) or Full Qualified
- Experience of preparing statutory accounts from computerised records or books of prime entry ideally with a minimum of 1 to 2 years experience
- Experience of assisting on audits ideally with a minimum of 1 to 2 years experience
- Good technical competence
- Car owner
