As an Audit Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of auditors, ensuring the delivery of high-quality audit services, and building strong relationships with clients.
Key responsibilities:
Plan, manage and deliver audit engagements in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring high-quality deliverables
Oversee and manage a team of auditors, providing guidance and support as needed
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing valuable insights
Develop and maintain a strong understanding of accounting and auditing standards and ensure their application on client engagements
Manage the financial aspects of engagements, including budgets and billing
Identify opportunities to provide additional services to clients and work with the firm's partners to develop new business opportunities
Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the audit team
Experience & Qualifications:
ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
At least 3 years of experience in external audit within a reputable accounting firm
Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards; GAAP
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members
Proven track record of managing and delivering successful audit engagements
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong project management and organisational skills
