As a Manager in the Audit & Assurance team, you'll specialise in the delivery and management of their Corporate portfolio.
Responsibilities:
Perform audits, managing planning, fieldwork, and completion within the agreed assignment budget. Take ownership and ensure completion of each audit assignment.
Act as the principal client contact during on-site fieldwork and address client queries post on-site completion.
Manage on-site teams, assist in supervising and developing junior staff, provide training, and allocate work appropriately based on team members' abilities. Complete job review forms for all junior staff on the same assignment.
Prepare statutory financial statements for clients, typically derived from the client’s management accounts.
Research technical issues and provide potential solutions for review by Partners/Directors.
Adhere to deadlines, promptly notifying the partner of potential problems on each assignment.
Identify areas where other experts in the firm can provide relevant services to meet client business needs.
Manage work in progress and billing on client assignments.
Undertake additional duties as reasonably required.
Highly desirable to have experience working with complex groups, reporting structures, and liaising with component auditors.
