We are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounts Senior to join our rapidly growing accountancy firm as a Client Relationship Manager. This is a unique chance to become an integral part of a dynamic team that is shaping the future of accounting services.
 
Our team operates remotely, but we prefer candidates based in Manchester, Yorkshire, or Midlands for ease of networking and participation in team events.
 
As a Client Relationship Manager, you will collaborate closely with the Head of Compliance, ensuring the delivery of precise and timely accounting services. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining and enhancing client relationships, contributing to our firm’s reputation for excellence.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Building and Maintaining Client Relationships: Develop strong, lasting relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and support.
  • Preparation of Accounts: Compile and prepare accurate financial statements and reports for various clients.
  • Bookkeeping: Maintain up-to-date and accurate financial records.
  • Corporate Tax Returns: Manage and file corporate tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Personal Tax Returns: Handle personal tax returns for clients, providing expert guidance and support.
  • VAT Returns: Prepare and submit VAT returns in accordance with current legislation.
  • Advisory: Provide accurate, honest and informative advice to our clients.
  • Ad-hoc Client Queries: Address and resolve any unexpected client questions or issues promptly and efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: ACA or ACCA Qualified.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years in a similar role within an accountancy practice, with a strong background in accounts preparation and tax compliance.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in various accountancy software.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional teamwork and communication skills, with a proactive and client-focused attitude.
