The Role:

 
They are seeking a dynamic Senior Manager to support the existing Partner in leading UK Employment Taxes across the Midlands region. This role involves close collaboration with their other tax disciplines, particularly their Shares and Global Mobility practices.
 
While detailed knowledge in these areas is not required, the ability to liaise effectively is essential. In this position, you will work closely with their impressive portfolio of corporate clients to provide expert advice and compliance services related to Employment Taxes.

 
Day-to-Day Duties:

• Manage the regional employment tax team by engaging team members, conducting appraisals, and providing coaching on assignments to enhance skills, knowledge, and work quality.
• Collaborate with other regional employment tax professionals and report directly to both the Midlands Partner and the National Head of Employment Taxes.
• Liaise regularly with the Regional Head of Tax and contribute to the regional annual tax growth plan.
• Build strong working relationships with clients through assignments and regular contact, including attending client meetings.
• Deliver tax advisory services and high-level technical and bespoke guidance within their network.
• Actively identify new business opportunities and cross-sell other service lines within the firm.

Skills & Experience:

• CTA equivalent qualification is beneficial but not essential; deeply qualified by experience individuals are welcome.
• Exposure to multiple sectors is advantageous due to their diverse client base.
• Significant and demonstrable experience in Employment Taxes.
• Strong technical knowledge and ability to research complex tax legislation.
• Proactive in seeking new business opportunities.
• Suitable for individuals currently working at or aspiring to step up to Senior Manager or Associate Director level.
