The Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Personal Tax Senior or Personal Tax Manager to join a dynamic and expanding team based in an Derbyshire.
They seek a proficient and poised individual eager to advance their managerial expertise. Reporting to the senior team, the chosen candidate will spearhead the provision of an efficient and strategic tax planning and reporting service to clients.

They seek a proficient and poised individual eager to advance their managerial expertise. Reporting to the senior team, the chosen candidate will spearhead the provision of an efficient and strategic tax planning and reporting service to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing a diverse portfolio of personal tax clients, encompassing individuals, partnerships, and trusts.
- Preparation and review of various personal tax returns, including self-assessment, partnership, and trust tax returns.
- Delivering tailored tax planning guidance to clients, covering income tax, capital gains tax, and inheritance tax planning.
- Completion and review of Forms P11D, collaborating with the specialist Employment Tax team to provide counsel on employment benefits.
- Managing client relationships, ensuring exemplary client service delivery.
- Engaging with HMRC to address and resolve any tax-related queries or issues.
- Supervising and guiding junior team members.
- Staying updated with shifts in tax legislation and communicating these changes effectively to clients.
- CTA qualification coupled with substantial experience in personal tax.
- Robust technical expertise in UK tax legislation, specifically income tax, capital gains tax, and inheritance tax.
- Proven track record in managing a personal tax client portfolio and delivering tailored tax planning advice.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong organisational and time management proficiencies.
- Proficiency in utilising tax software and Microsoft Office applications.
