About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

- Offering advisory support to independently managed businesses on diverse accounts and business matters.
- Handling a personal portfolio of clients, managing year-end and various issues while fostering robust relationships year-round.
- Reviewing accounts and tax computations from team members.
- Ensuring client needs are met by effectively managing deadlines and workflow.
- Crafting statutory accounts for a variety of client types and sizes.
- Formulating business/corporate taxation computations and returns, addressing standard associated tax inquiries.
- Possible engagement in audit tasks as required by experience and need.
- Assisting the team with the technical facets of client service (financial statements, audit, business taxation matters).
- Demonstrated experience of at least four years in accountancy practice within a role involving multiple disciplines
- (Qualified - ACA or ACCA).
- Skilful in managing a diverse client portfolio.
- Exceptional technical proficiency.
- Adept at understanding commercial aspects.
- Desirable experience in professional networking.
- Emphasis on meeting deadlines through efficient time management.
- Proficiency and confidence with IT, particularly MS Office applications, and cloud-based accounting solutions like Xero and QuickBooks.
- Familiarity with the Iris suite of programs.
- Possession of a clean driving license with car access for business purposes.
- Driven and dedicated to delivering outstanding service to both clients and colleagues.
- Enthusiastic with an inherent desire for success.
- Confidence in professional environments and client interactions.
- A self-assured communicator exhibiting excellent verbal and written skills.
- Adaptable working hours/conditions.
